On the fourth day of the summer school, the sun after the rain was shining brightly on the ground. The students were full of vigor and began a new day of study.

In the morning, Tushar K. Ghosh, a professor from North Carolina State University, and Jinsong SHEN, a professor from De Montfort University, UK, gave lessons to the students.

At the beginning of the class, professor Tushar K. Ghosh talked to the students and determined the test schedule tomorrow. Then, the geotextile fabric whose rich form and wide application were amazing was introduced. Later, Tushar K. Ghosh opened a new chapter to introduce the overview of automobile tires to students, including the definition, function, development history, type and structure of automobile tires. Professor Tushar K. Ghosh speaked in a detailed description and was informative.

Professor Jinsong SHEN's second class brought the textile functional finishing technology to students. Firstly he introduced students the plasma technology and laser technology for surface treatment, giving the textile new finishing technology and the unique function. Additionally, self-cleaning technology of fabric surface, electrostatic spinning nanofiber technology and microcapsule technology were introduced. Professor SHEN gave an interesting lecture which attracted the students a lot. The students were addicted to the lesson and put up with their  questions actively which reflected students' concern on the development of textile and love for scientific research.

In the afternoon, professor Yingjiao Xu and professor Martin King of North Carolina State University in the United States gave lessons.

Yingjiao professor Xu brought the last class of summer school. The students listened carefully and were reluctant to say goodbye. When the professor explained the consumers' purchasing decisions, she raised questions and showed the whole purchasing decision-making process. The students actively participated in the process and took the initiative to share their choices on the stage. Then, the students' representatives went on stage to show their team work, which was clear in logic, rigorous in structure and graceful in behavior, and won the applause of the rest of the students. 

With a friendly hello, professor Martin King from the North Carolina State University won the students' warm welcome. Professor King first told the story of scientific research methods that research could be divided into four steps: make assumptions, design experiments, analyze the data and conclude. In addition, professor also led us into textile science research's traditional fields and latest fields. At last, that the secret of success was hard work and faith was told.
