On the last day of summer school, students welcomed their last classes with a state of fullness.
Professor Ning PAN, from the University of California, Davis, explained the heat and warmth of textile clothing, and by giving examples introduced the thermal properties of the materials and textiles. Then professor PAN explained the heat transfer mechanism in detail, including heat conduction, heat convection and heat radiation. In the end, the professor vividly described the connection between the thermal and the microclimate of the suit, and introduced the clo index that the larger the clo, the warmer the fabric is .
The vice President of textile college, donghua university, Xiaohong QIN introduced the graduate students training system of textile science and engineering. Firstly professor QIN introduced the basic information on the textile top-ranking discipline and degree points of textile duscipline in the school. After that, profeesor QIN gave the students a detailed introduction to the university's rich faculty, and the research direction of the mentors.
At the end of the last day , the students ended their summer school life with the joy of harvest. It is believed that the 11-day course will enable students to have a deeper understanding of the textile major. Welcome to donghua again!
