On the second day of the summer school, Professor Yingjiao Xu from North Carolina State University, Professor Jinsong Shen from De Montfort University, UK, and Professor Roohollah Bagherzadeh from Amirkabir University of Technology gave lectures to the students and show them the charming of textiles.

In the morning, Professor Yingjiao Xu brought a wonderful lesson. In the class, Professor Yingjiao Xu asked the students to share the homework completed yesterday. Students from Wuhan Textile University, Tianjin Polytechnic University and Donghua University expressed their views on the changes and future trends of the Chinese consumer market. Professor Xu’s cordial way of teaching won the affection of the students.

Professor Jinsong Shen continued the lecture with the development of sustainable textile innovation technology, detailing the new technologies of textile functional finishing: plasma technology of surface treatment and laser technology, self-cleaning technology on fabric surface, electrospun nanofiber technology and microcapsule technology. The content of the lecture was novel and interesting, and the students listened with great enthusiasm and were very interested in what he said.

In the afternoon, Professor Yingjiao Xu continued the course explaining the segmentation and segmentation methods of the consumer market, and interacted with the students. After throwing out the questions, the students actively spoke, the atmosphere of class was relaxed and active, and the students showed great passion in discussion. Professor Roohollah Bagherzadeh gave a brief introduction about the Amirkabir University of Technology, his personal situation and research field, and then began to explain the functional fiber materials specifically.
