On July 8, We had the last day of Summer School. Professor Martin W. King and Professor XU Yingjiao from North Carolina State University gave Excellent reports.

Professor Martin W. King took "The Role of Textile Scaffolds in Regenerating Multiple Tissue Junctions" as the theme, mainly introducing the motivation and principles of tissue engineering, the architecture and requirements of scaffolds, and how to achieve interfacial tissue engineering with the regulation of structural and functional gradient.He not only paid attention to the explanation of basic knowledge, but also matched some specific scientific examples and literature pictures, focusing on the excellent performance of the scaffolds supported by woven, knitted, braided and other textile structures, which guided students to think about the construction of textilescaffolds in regenerating multiple tissue junctions.

Professor XU Yingjiao gave the third lecture on "Consumers Behaviour in the Textile and Fashion Industry". Prof. Xu introduced the Consumer Decision Process Model as a beginning, and explained some factors that affect consumer behaviour such as demographics, geographic location, psychographics and so on. According to groups of people, market segmentation emerges. The process of evaluating and focusing marketing efforts on one segment (or several segments) has significant meaning to the textile market.

At this point, the eight-day online lectures of the 2022 Shanghai International Textile Graduate Summer School have come to an end.
