On July 4, Professor Roohollah from Amil Kabir University of Technology, Professor Tao Xuyuan from the French National Institute of Textile Engineers, and Professor Gong Ronghua from the University of Manchester made wonderful academic reports.

Under the theme "Advanced Fiber Materials and Fiber Wiki gas Sensor Technology," Roohollah showcased a variety of application scenarios for advanced materials, including nanofiber core/sheath suture yarns for targeted drug delivery, smart textiles for monitoring infant behavior and visualization systems, discussed sustainable issues around energy, Energy harvesting devices can be used to improve energy utilization and reduce energy consumption. He communicated and interacted with the students in a relaxed and lively way and answered their doubts one by one.

With the theme of "Smart textiles and their applications", Tao Xuyuan introduced the application of electronic components in smart fabrics, including the selection of single chip computers, advanced textile electronic connectors (button, roll connection, solder, embroidery, glue), etc. Through videos and pictures, the relevant research and latest technology of smart textiles are visually displayed, leading the students to feel the unique charm of smart textiles.

Gong Ronghua took "textile and garment performance evaluation" as the theme, starting from the sampling method, introduced its principle, commonly used sampling techniques, relevant influencing factors, applicable scenarios, methods to avoid errors, etc. Taking the measurement of fiber length as an example, the uncertainty in the measurement is explained in detail, including systematic error, random error and so on. The importance of establishing a good performance evaluation system in textile production was explained to the students.
